My story I am 14 years old, and I had always wanted a dog, my mother grew up with a siamese cat, so she had reasons for wanting a cat. I agreed with her because my whole life I never had a pet and now I had to chance so I took it, not caring if it was a cat or a dog. So, two months ago my mother and I went to the Burea Animal Rescue Shelter. There, we found the cutest tiny kitten, and his name was Biscuit. He was orange all over, but white on his chest and paws. So adorable! So we rescued him and brought him home, only knowing he had one disease. The illness we knew about was that he had an upper respiratoy failure. He sneezed all the time, and you could hear him trying to gasp for air. After a week of medication for him, I noticed inside his ears there were chunks of black gunk. My mother and I took him to the vet and found out he had ear mites, upper respiratory illness (still) and also an intestines disease. Every two weeks we went to the vet and watched Biscuit get tortured with medication, and cleaning out his ears. But it was for a good cause. He is now 4 months old. His upper respiratory illness is totally gone, and also his intestines disease has disappeared. The ear mites are almost gone and we go to the vet about every 3 weeks now instead of 2. Biscuit loves us and we love him. My mother thinks 'destiny' brought him to us. I think she's right. My Story :)

Are you thinking about getting a cat? Cats are wonderful! If you are thinking about getting one, or if you just got one, I wil mention some of the brands you should get for your adorable pal! Some cat owners just put out a bowl of water and dry food for their cat. I do this, but twice a day, I feed my cat kitten formula, or cat food (meat-like). Very many cat owners do this. I recomend feeding your cat twice a day AND putting a bowl of dry food out because during the day when your cat gets hungry, he or she can nibble on his dry food, rather than begging you all day long. If you are thinking or have a kitten/cat and want it to be happy like my cat :) you can see which foods, toys, etc are the best right here. My cat even rated them on how much he liked it! Dry foods: Meow Mix (Seafood Middles) Rating: 9 Purina Kitten Chow Rating: 10 Nutro Max Cat (Kitten) Rating: 7 Iam's Rating: 4(Hates them) When my cat is being a good little kitty, or does something good or even a trick, I congratulate him with a treat. I recommend this if you do not want your cat begging. Crazy Events! Crazy things happen with a crazy cat! My cat loves watching Seventh Heaven every Monday night! He sits infront of the television, and stares! My uncle has a dog, a pug named Brodie. The pets do not like eachother, and have met twice. Last week, we bought biscuit a cat nip toy that has a face of a pug! Now he bites it and rubs and plays with Brodie all the time! We calculated Biscuit's Birthday to be on the Fourth of July. Biscuit likes to watch the computer screen, and try to 'catch' the arrow (mouse)! For Christmas, we bought Biscuit little reindeer antlers, we cant wait to see what he is going to look like! He rolls down the toilet paper when we are asleep and crumbles it up all around the bathroom. Biscuit watches the water and bubbles when someone takes a bath. He likes to hit the bubbles and see how they stick to his little paws. My mom has her own blue reclining chair, every since we had Biscuit, its now HIS chair.
