Meiriadog Labrador Retrievers First and foremost Labradors are our passion. We acquired our first Black Lab about 9 years ago. She is still with us and is a pleasure to own. We decided we wanted to reproduce her beauty and temperament. She reared a lovely litter and we now have 5 generations. She produced all 3 colours of Labrador and we fell in love with 'Chocolate'. Megan who is now 5 being our first Chocolate bitch.We have no real colour preferences but find the Chocolates very attractive. We do not show, our pleasure is gained from obedience training and breeding an occasional litter. We like to breed principally for type, temperament and soundness bearing in mind that most of our puppies are purchased by people wanting a dog or bitch that will become a part of the family or loyal companion for a person living alone. All our dogs live in our home. They are not kennel dogs. Our puppies are always reared indoors and so they are very sociable. All our dogs have access to fields and open countryside and are good with livestock. we believe very strongly that dogs should be fed wholesome natural food and our puppies and adults dogs are fed natural products rather than processed food. All our puppies are fully Kennel Club registered. All parents have good hip and eye scores and they are fully insured. We would expect to meet any prospective owners before agreeing a sale.
