SASHA COOK - IN THE SWING OF THINGS! 02 JULY

MAJOR Hi Uncle Ted, I just wanted to let you know that i really enjoyed my ride home today. We had the aircon on full blast all the way home and we stopped half way to fill up with fuel and water!!. Mind you, i did get a little over excited when another dog walked past at the traffic lights. When we got home, mum was waiting outside the front door to meet me, along with James and Kimmie. They seemed really happy to see me! My knew home is great and i have lots of new toys to play with. However, my favourite is an old tennis ball i found in the garden! We all played fetch for ages but mum and dad always want the ball back all the time, when i just want to chew it! We all went for a little walk around the local field and i behaved really well when i saw a dog way off in the distance (might have got more excited had he come a little closer though!) I have laid my scent in the corner where Ollie used to sleep already. Mum and Dad were'nt cross though. In fact dad started laughing! Oh, and the garden is definitely my territory now! I met next doors dog through the fence. She Liked me about as much as i liked her!!! Perhaps we should go to socialising lessons together!! Well i'm chilling out now as you'll see from the piccies mum and dad took and they said you can use these in your newsletter if you want ! I just wanted to say thank you dearly for everything you did for me. I really appreciate it and please dont stop trying to help all my brothers and sisters out there. Without people like you, many dogs like me would not have a chance to be this happy and contented. Loves and Licks, Major Ps. i love vanilla ice cream!! Mum gave me a little taste of hers. I have never tasted anything like it. but dad says i cant have much cos its not good for me (but really i think it's because he wants it all!) Oh, and mum says i dont need to bark at the toilet because it won' hurt me, but i'm not so sure yet! It makes a funny noise. Still it made mum laugh. Anyway everyones gone to bed now. Do you think Mum and Dad will be cross if i wake them up? What the heck! Where's that tennis ball gone????

KODY 22 JUNE Dear Ted, we got back to the Wirral ok. We went for a walk over to the golf course before where Kody was brilliant off the lead we all played hide and seek for nearly an hour until the kids got bored, then Kody decided to go and say hello to a couple of golfers and pinched one of their balls off them! He likes to sit by the baby and my wife a lot but they keep rubbing his belly and the baby keeps trying to shake his paw which he seems happy doing. I am going to try to attach a couple of pictures for you. Here’s the pictures of Kody from our first family walk. We bought a new longer outdoor training lead and after 5 minutes he settled down and started to walk by our sides so we let him have full reign of the lead and he only walked off about 10 feet then kept coming back to our sides so we let him do this for 20 minutes then let him off. He only ventures about 15 feet then comes back to make sure we all ok Speak to you soon and many thanks Graham
