March 10, 2010 SHANDY Hello, my name is Shandy and I'm 6 years old. I'm a little subdued at the moment as my "partner" a male GSD died last August and I'm lonely on my own. I've always lived outside you see and he was always there for me and I used to follow what he did. My owner has a health problem that she is going abroad to have treated so I need a new home as they can't take me with them. I just need some companionship now but I don't have to find a home with another dog, just one where the people will love me and understand that I'm still grieving.

February 15, 2010 SASSIE Sassie just loves company and loves to play ball. She doesn't have to have your constant attention, she's happy just to know you are there. Fate hasn't been kind to her as each time she has thought she had found her forever home circumstances around her have changed and she has had to come back to us. No fault at all of hers, she's a lovely lass. She would like a home without cats and as she can be quite lively when she gets playing we would say a family with older children would be best.

February 25, 2010 FINNY Finny is a lovely young lad who can be a bit timid at first but once he trusts he is a very loving boy giving lots of kisses. He loves to run at top speed around the garden and play with a tennis ball. He needs to be in an experienced household as his past has led him to be nervous of strangers and other dogs (he can happily play for a while out in the open fields but once indoors or feeling threatend he will let the other dog know he is boss). To avoid conflict he needs to be the only dog in the home. He travels well and will bond quickly with the right person who understands his needs.

March 2, 2010 EBONY Hello, my name is Ebony and I'm 3 years old. I'm a timid girl but good with kids. I had my first walk with Uncle Ted today as I realised it was OK here and no-one was going to hurt me. I let him put my lead on and take me out and it was lovely to be out on the field in the sunshine. March 6, 2010 KELLY Hello my name is Kelly and I'm 11 months old. Uncle Ted came for me today and took me back to his home in his van. He says I'm here to find a nice new home. I've got an excelent pedigree coming from a breeder of black GSD in Wales. I am beautiful and friendly and happy and boisterous as a puppy should be (but Uncle Ted says I need some training? What is it, is it fun?) I lived with a Westie and we both got on fine and I really really like people..........
