Interested in exploring the Hampshire Countryside with your dog?

What we do: ~ We meet at least once a month, for walks of about 2 hours duration exploring the Hampshire Countryside. ~ After the walk we usually have an (optional ) pub lunch, afternoon tea or picnic if weather suitable. ~ In addition we occassionally meet up for longer walks of say 10 miles or a short evening walk followed by a picnic/BBQ on Hayling Island. ~ I am also interested in organizing some dog swimming at a nearby indoor Dog Swimming Pool if anyone is interested.

Who are we: ~ We are a small group of people from Liss, Petersfield and Alton who enjoy walking and exploring our local countryside in the company of others. ~ We have an 'eclectic' mix of dogs ranging from the above Poodle to some Collies, a couple of Labradors, several Terriers and a sprinkling of Beagles - not forgetting Charlie the Staffie. ~ My name is Jane and I organize and lead the walks.

Still interested? IS YOUR DOG FRIENDLY WITH OTHER DOGS? ~ Your dog MUST be placid and friendly around other dogs - I am sorry but we are not here to socialize 'problem' dogs. ARE YOU BOTH FIT ENOUGH? ~ You both need to be fit enough to walk for about 2 hours at a sensible pace - about 3 miles an hour at a guess. ARE YOU HAPPY WITH A BIT OF MUD? ~ Most of the walks are 90% or more 'off road' - this means some mud is inevitable!! If you can answer yes to the above and would like to join us - get in contact!
