amateur radio operator & astronomer

Intermediate Class "A" Licence

This licence includes a pass in Morse code at 5WPM and allows me to use 50 watts on all HF bands, and on UHF/VHF.
My location is 10 Km East of London Heathrow Airport.
My 2Mtr Tx is a Yaesu FT 1500M with a quarter wave ground plane antenna.
My HF Tx is an ICOM IC-718 and the antenna is a 1/2 size G5RV.
My main interests at the moment are working the WAI squares and also the British Amateur Radio Lighthouse Society.
I also like to contact other special event stations.
I am also an amateur astronomer and have a 120mm refractor telescope.
