UPDATED 30TH OCTOBER 2006 Shay looks fantastic, thank you for all your updates xxxxxxx Hi Jo Hope you are feeling much better by this time and have completed all your treatment. I wanted to ask you about Shay, I am thinking of having him neutered but before that happens I wondered if perhaps you would like to use his services as it were....:) I know you have your own stud dogs but he is so gorgeous and great tempered, although he has started to assert himself when strangers call at the house these days, and he has people he takes an instant liking to and others that he won’t let come anywhere near him. I tend to trust his judgement....:) Let me know what you think. I have some funnies to send you as well, look forward to hearing from you. All the best Susan

Me again Jo
I took these photos earlier this evening so they are the very latest of my beautiful Shay. His coat is so silky and shiny, and he likes nothing better than to lay across my lap for a cuddle every evening, great, except he weighs around 6 stones....!! He’s off to the Vets on Thursday for his annual health check and booster shots, don’t think he’ll be very impressed with that.
All the best

Hi Jo Sorry about that, I was trying to resize the pics cos I know they are big. Oh well, hope you can open them now, they are quite good of him. He is stunning isn't he, a great looking lad. You don't think I have anything to worry about then, not having had a Rottie from a pup before I wasn't sure when they start to bulk up. I was worried because I can feel his backbone when I stroke him. He eats well twice a day (Purina Pro Plan) plus milk once a day. Although having had a look at your website and read some of the information I am going to try him on Lactol, see if that will help. He also has very large bones that I get fresh from the butcher occasionally, he really enjoys those. His temperament is superb, no food aggression or anything like that. Mind you I have trained him from the beginning with his food, putting my hand in his feeding bowl etc' and it's certainly done the trick. You can even take a bone from his mouth now and he doesn't bother. Great dog. Good luck with everything Jo. All the best Susan xxx

Hi Jo
How are things with you now, are you still having treatment?
Here are some pics of Shay that I took today, as you can see he is making a beautiful dog. He’s started filling out a bit now, but he looks as though he’s going to be very tall. I don’t know what I would do without him these days. My son James has been away to Thailand for 3 weeks and Shay has really kept me company, he does some very funny things that make me laugh so much.
Take care
All the best
Susan
