| THIS IS HARLEY THE ROTTWEILER |
8TH AUGUST 2006 Hi Jo - I don't know if you remember us but we had a pup off Lynne in Leeds, from Sky and your Zeus. I have been looking around your site for about the last 2 hours, kind of got lost in all the beautiful pictures. By doing this I have only just realized the illness you have been going through, I hope you are doing a lot better now?. The reason I am witting, we are going to be searching for a companion for Harley from near the end of the year, and hope you will allow us to come to you?, after careful thought and some advice we have decided on a little girl. We love Harley's markings which are on the dark side, which we really like on the males. When we come to getting a girl though we would love her to have lighter tan markings, which we know greatly depends on the colour of both parents. We see a lot of Zeus in Harley's shape, head & build, but a lot of his colour is from his mum. I have looked at some pictures of your bitches, and they are all beautiful, with great colour markings. I was wondering if you could email me any details of any litters you have planned for later in the year with your own dogs?. I hope you don't feel I am being too picky - we love Harley to death, and wouldn't want to change a thing about him, he's great with out 2 kids, our cats and anyone who he comes in contact with. People can't walk by without making a fuss, & we can't thank you and Lynne enough for making it possible for us to have such a great dog, who is now well & truly a family member. We all can't wait until the end of September when we are all going on holiday to spend a week in Somerset, can't wait to see what Harley makes of the sea & surf, lol, will send you pictures when we get back. Hope you & the family are well, Rebecca, martin & family xxx |

UPDATED 9TH DECEMBER 2006 Hi Jo, I don't know if you remember us?, but we brought a rottweiler pup from Lynne in Leeds earlier this year, we called him Harley. We just thought you might like some updated photo's of Harley to add to Lynne's page. Both were taken when he was about 7 - 8 months old, one was taken whilst on holiday by the sea in Somerset the other was taken when he was having some quilt time at home with his favourite girl. We think he is growing into a strapping lad, with a great temperament, he loves kids & other animals, we couldn't ask for him tobe any better. Rebecca & family |

UPDATED 23RD FEB 2007 Hi Joe Sorry to hear Harley's mum is up for sale, if anyone comes to mind I will give them Lynn's number. Harley is doing great some new piccys are below, we looked after a friends German shepherd pup over Christmas while they were away, as you can see they got on great, and it was a good chance to see how Harley went on with a puppy, we now have a Newfoundland to keep him company. We always planned on getting a Rottie bitch, but after Harley I don't know I just love the males, lol, but after having 2 males in the past, not a great idea. So we ended up with a newfie girl.
Your website is looking great, what are you going to do about this new docking law coming in? Talk soon, Becca xxx

5TH JUNE 2007 Hi Jo, sorry for not getting back to you sooner, we have been busy getting a new dog run set up in the garden, which Harley thinks is much better than being such indoors when we have to go out. We are all well thanks, how is everyone at your end? I have seen from the updates on your website that it's a busy time for you. I have sent some new pictures of Harley along with this email, as you can see from the 3rd pic, he adores my daughter, they are best of friends. He was last weighed 2 months a go when he was a year old, & weighed 42Kg and stood at 25 - 26" to his shoulders, we were a little worried that he was light for his age, but the vet said it's so nice to see a Rottie at the right height & weight, he said he's seeing more & more Rotties being to big for their breed, and says Harley will probably settle around 45kg. Hope your all well, Becca & family xx
