HERE MARLI IS LEAVING TO HER NEW HOME |
HOME SAFE Hi Joe,
Just to let you know we are back home safe and sound. Marli got in the car and wanted strokes for the first few miles. After that she got on her quilt and slept all the way back till we got to Newcastle. Once home she had a big drink or water some nice sloppy food and then decided to go to for a lay in her bed.
Ill send some more pictures through to you.
Thanks for such a beautiful puppy.

UPDATED 23RD SEPT Hi Joe,
Marli has settled in great. She is eating all her food and drinking loads. She has only had a couple of accidents rest of the time she runs to the back door and yelps when she needs the toilet. I think that its down to her loving the little treats she’s been getting for going outside. She sleeps in her basket downstairs all night and never wakes up until we do (so far!). Today she has discovered how to run to the door and bark just as the letters are coming through. She’s done it twice today now and it was so funny to see the postman jump as he wasn’t expecting it!!! She has found her favourite spot and wont move for anyone. Its right on the hearth in front of the fire she sits so close to it that we haven’t managed to put the fire on for two days as we couldn’t get to the controls. Her other trick is to get in the garden grab a few pieces of gravel and walk back in the house all innocent then hide them somewhere thinking no one has seen her!!!!
Take Care

UPDATED 28TH SEPT 2005 Hi Joe,
We have just got back from taken Marli to the vets for her first injection. The vet was very happy with her she weighs 5kg exactly and her heart and temperature were great. The vet said her markings were the nicest she had seen in a long time. She was very impressed with the booklet you give us with the pedigree and hip scores etc she said she had never know a breeder present everything so nice, in fact she was that impressed she went around and showed it to everyone. She is eating great prefers to eat the pedigree dry mixture now than slop. She spends most her time in the garden loves being out there apart from when its raining and you could get her out the door for anything!!!!!
I have attached a picture of her after her bath before the vets. She was a bit grumpy because I wouldn’t let her back in the garden!!

UPDATED 18TH OCTOBER 2005 Hi Joe,
Hope your all well.
Update on Marli – She is growing so quick. She loves being outside in fact if she had her way she would spend all day out there although she is a bit frightened of the dark it seems so we have fitted a outside light for her to go out at night.
She rarely has any accidents now if she does it is normally during the night the rest of the time she lets you know and runs to the back door. She puts herself to bed about 10:30 and you don’t hear anything from her until after 7. She gets her last injection next week then is going to puppy training a week later. She has already been taught to sit, rollover (loves her belly tickled), fetch and to leave although her leaving isn’t that great if its something she can chew on!!!. She loves licking ears if she escapes upstairs she has to carried back down (she can get up but wont try coming down) and will lick your ears all the way down the stairs.
I have attached a few new pics taken this morning.
Best wishes

27th October 2005, BEST WISHES JOE XXXXXXXXXXXXXX Hi Joe,
Just thought I would drop you a quick mail. Marli has just been for her final injection this morning and can go out in 7 days. All the staff fussed over her so she was in her element. Vet was very happy with her she now weighs 10.75kg so has doubled in weight in the last three weeks. The vet said she is going to be a big dog due to the size of her paws and she is going to have a big bottom she thinks!! Vet was really happy with how laid back she was and that she has stopped mouthing and she didn’t cry once.
I will send you some more pictures soon as I forgot to charge the batteries!!!!!.
Thanks so much for such a beautiful puppy we couldn’t have wished for anything better.
Best Wishes
John and Marli
